do remember that it's still early days. the firefox extension is just the first step (and not even fully baked).

a few things coming soon: 
* we just created &lt;a href="http://www.polarrose.com/events/gnomedex07" rel="nofollow"&gt;a people gallery for gnomedex&lt;/a&gt; by pulling in photos from flickr tagged gnomedex07 or gnomedex2007. think the same but photos from your flickr friends, facebook contacts, etc.
* javascript widget. the same functionality as the firefox but on your blog, news site, online album or anywhere else you publish photos.

i do understand the comparison with riya due to the underlying technology and we're happy that they broke the ground on 'democratizing' face recognition. however, we feel that we're in a fundamentally different space by looking at photos anywhere instead of asking users to upload photos into a dedicated photoalbum app.
